Yamas Gare

It was our first time in Luxembourg and we decided to eat in a restaurant with good reviews but especially a restaurant that is conveniently close to our hotel. Needless to say, Yamas did not disappoint. The food quality and quantity was out of this world. It was so delicious and just felt like it was made with love. We were truly happy and it made the rest of our trip there. The thing that we liked most was the service and the people. So nice and welcoming and did one hell of a job serving Greek ethnic food. At the end, we couldn’t be more content that we picked the closest location. Would definitely return again if given a chance (even if it is not the closest location ) Keep up the great spirit.

Excellent Greek restaurant with many dishes and very good portions. Very friendly service and traditional atmosphere. I am Greek and I believe it is the best traditional Greek restaurant in Luxembourg. Try the grilled Calamari and the stuffed burger

Decided to try a new restaurant today as I have never been here before. The interior design is ok but nothing special. It feels a bit bland to be honest. The variety that you can order with the card is nice and the prices are also very fair. You don't find much for over 20 euro. The quality of the food is good even if not excellent. The portions are however huge! All in all simply a good restaurant even if nothing special which the review also reflects.

A Greek eatery that truly brought the flavors of the Mediterranean to our table. From the moment we walked in, the warm, welcoming ambiance and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. To start, we ordered the tzatziki, and it was an absolute delight. The creamy yogurt, garlic, and fresh cucumber blend had just the right amount of tanginess, paired perfectly with the warm pita bread. It was the kind of dish that sets the tone for an authentic Greek meal. For the main course, we opted for the grilled squid. Cooked to perfection, the squid was tender and lightly charred, delivering a smoky flavor that was enhanced by a drizzle of lemon juice. It was a highlight of the meal, showcasing the simplicity and freshness that Greek cuisine is known for. We also sampled a variety of other traditional dishes, including moussaka and spanakopita. The moussaka was rich and flavorful, with layers of tender eggplant, spiced ground meat, and a creamy béchamel sauce that melted in our mouths. The spanakopita, with its flaky phyllo pastry and savory spinach and feta filling, was another standout. To finish off our meal, we enjoyed a classic Greek dessert baklava. The layers of crispy phyllo, honey, and chopped nuts made for a sweet, satisfying end to our dining experience. Overall, the this restaurant delivered a fantastic meal that transported us straight to Greece. The flavors were authentic, the portions were generous, and the service was excellent. We recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy traditional Greek cuisine in a cozy and friendly setting.
